Cancellation Policy

Note: This cancellation policy is based on the standard text of Annex I to the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). It is an initial draft and should be reviewed by a law firm specialised in consumer law before productive use. The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers (B2C); no right of withdrawal exists vis-à-vis entrepreneurs (B2B).

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, which is, however, not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this repayment.

If you have requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Exclusion or premature expiration of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist or expires prematurely in the case of:

Contracts for the provision of services which have already been fully performed and the execution of which has begun with your express prior consent and your acknowledgment that you lose your right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully performed by us.
Contracts for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium, if you have expressly consented to the beginning of the performance before the end of the withdrawal period and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
Contracts with entrepreneurs (B2B) – the right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers.
